OUR PHILOSOPHY
Crabapple Falls Ranch is located over 1500 acres between Fredericksburg & Llano, in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The ranch features the serene Crabapple Creek, rolling valleys of Live Oak, and awe inspiring views of the ancient monolith - Enchanted Rock. Whitetail deer, wild turkey and auodad are abundant and are seen daily around the ranch. The small but mighty Crabapple Creek winds a dramatic path through granite outcrops while providing over 2.5 miles of live water access. This dramatic landscape includes a one mile stretch of canyon with cliffsides towering nearly 200ft above cascading falls and pools that the wildlife enjoy.
As exclusive partners with the Crabapple Falls Ranch, here at Enchanted Rock Livestock we have the privilege to care for this land by rotationally grazing the property. In doing so our herd helps rebuild soil organic matter to promote a biodiversity that supports the native wildlife. We do not use any pesticides or fertilizer on the ranch, instead following Aldo Leopold's "Axe, Cow, Plow, Fire & Gun" management tools. Care is given to ensure our livestock are handled gently and have only a positive effect on their surroundings. We do not clear cut and raise monocrop hay fields, preferring to work within and enhance the natural features of this region. This approach is purposeful and promotes a holistic relationship between steward, land, livestock & wildlife over goals like maximum production.
Our beef is always 100% native grass fed and grass finished, and free of antibiotics and growth hormones. We believe our product to be unique and flavor forward, better for the consumer and our animals alike.
We look forward to being able to supply you and your loved-ones with nutritious and flavorful food, raised with care and a high quality of life.
Thank you for supporting your local ranches and ranching community!

OUR FAMILY
Jess & I started Enchanted Rock Livestock in 2023 with the goal of providing clean local food to our community and continuing our connection with the land. However, our dream of being part of a regenerative ranching operation began years ago, while living in Tyler and Midland. We were fortunate to grow up around family ranches in Central & South Texas where we learned how cattle can be used to benefit the land. These experiences, combined with our shared love of the outdoors, set us on the path to where we are today.
Home for the Randalls is now in Boerne, Texas where we are raising our 7th generation Texans, June (10) and Wade (8), with gratitude for God, life and nature. When we're not on the ranch you can find us in our home garden & apiary, tending to a collection of pets & chickens, hiking / biking / camping as a family or leading our dens with Cub Scout Pack 102.
We look forward to getting to know you and sharing a little part of the Texas Hill Country!
